3FL Notes: S22: Week 11 Preview

A low scoring Rivalry Week muddled the standings even more and now no teams are on pace for a top-five season scoring total.

With only four games left in the regular season there are still no playoff spots clinched and no team is mathematically eliminated either. It should be a fun sprint to the postseason!

Justin Fields (QB/Chi/SV) - 39 points
Patrick Mahomes (QB/KC/YB) - 31 points

And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 11:

Marauders (-1/2) vs. Predacons
Coach Hoss lost again last week and is now tied for the longest losing streak in league history. One more here and he'll stand alone at L-10 (after winning the SuperBowl just last season). But the Marauders are actually favored to beat the Preds thanks to the Seahawks bye week, a few favorable matchups and an injured WR. They have to win out for a shot at the last postseason spot, but...you're saying there's a chance?

Dumbbums (-1) vs. Misfits, Inc.
The 'Bums are on a five game winning streak and it's looking likely they'll push that to a half dozen this week. It is just a question of if there will be enough healthy WRs to line up against FitzCorp. The Corporation currently has two TEs starting for their team. Last resort or brilliant strategy?

Phys Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
This is shaping up to be a great matchup, but the result will be based on player health and if Josh Allen is trying to throw the ball in 3 to 6 feet of snow and 30 mph winds (as is the forecast for the weekend). It's also not helping that the 'Morons currently have three players on IR. It will be close but PEP will most likely use a MNF comeback to seal the game.

Lightning (-1) vs. Renegades
I'm not sure what's happening with the Bolts, but they've now lost their last four after starting the season 6-0. This week looks to be perfect game to get back on track though, as the Renegades have six (6!) players on a bye plus 2 Qs and one IR. That seems like a lot to overcome.

Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
The Brew Crew remains in first place and now they're also a game up on their closest competitors. The Stompers, meanwhile, limp into this one after scoring their lowest game total since rivalry week of 2015. Ouch. They'll need all they can get against Patrick Mahomes this week, and all those Qs aren't helping.

And the game of the week...

Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. the HAW
These two have combined to make 40 transactions already this year. Will they make any more before this important matchup begins? Both teams are looking solid and the projections are even, but don't sleep on the CAPS. They're second in the league in scoring but 10th in the standings. That has to work itself out over a 14 week season, right? It will all come down to Sunday night.

Good luck this week.
