It is impossible to keep that possibility out of your mind when you’re having such a great season.

Q: Are you peaking too early?
A: I don't believe we are peaking; what we're doing is playing great fantasy football. While it may look like we’re peaking, our high point totals each week have been the result of different individuals stepping up each week while others are struggling. In fact, I believe we have yet to see the full potential of this team.

Q: Are you worried about the Rough Riders pulling off a second upset in as many weeks?
A: Let’s be serious here: last week’s upset was not the result of a good week for the Riders, but a poor week for the ‘Fitz. If we lose this week it will be for the same reason; but I have no reason to think we won’t continue to perform well and get the job done.

Q: Is Tom Brady your entire team?
A: Clearly, Tom Brady is having a fantastic season and is an important part of this organization; but he is still only one member of the team. The rest of the players are having a tremendous year as well. For example, even if our recently backup QB, Brett Favre, was in the starting role last week, the Lightning would still have racked up the most points - and that was with three starters on a bye.

Q: What is your opinion on the accusations of New England “running up the score” last week?
A: We weren’t directly involved in that decision, but as far as we’re concerned New England can run up the score every week. Maybe someone will figure out a way to stop them, but no team should blame the Patriots for being too good.

Q: What about next week against the Marauders; do you think you’ll struggle without Brady in the lineup?
A: The Marauders are a challenging opponent. They could even be in first place going into week 10. We’ll be without Brady, yes, but remember that the New England bye will also keep Randy Moss off of the Marauders starting lineup. He would likely have stolen some of Brady’s points anyway; so week 10 would be a challenge even with Brady available.

All we can control is our own performance and we’ve been preparing our week 10 strategy for some time. We picked up Greg Jennings off the waivers during Green Bay’s bye week and recently acquired Brett Favre from the Misfits. With Green Bay as the only Defense on our roster, we’ll be putting a lot of stock in the GB vs. Min game next week. At their previous meeting in week 4, all three performed well on the road against Minnesota. This time they’ll be playing in front of the home team crowd; so I think we’ll be just fine. With some luck we may even hook up on a Favre-Jennings combo and return an Adrian Peterson fumble for a TD.

That’s all for today; thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
