The rich get richer and the poor get, well, more losses. After three weeks we have three undefeated and three winless teams. We're guaranteed to reduce the first number by at least one this week.
Remember that the byes are starting. Who can you afford to keep on your active roster?

Week 4 Information
Thursday Night: Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens
Sunday Night: New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles
Monday Night: Chicago Bears @ Dallas Cowboys
Bye Week: Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 4:
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Marauders
A loss is coming for one of these 3-0 teams. It's going to be a great battle, but who would bet against the league's top scoring Brew Crew? A win this week will take them to eight straight victories going back to last season's final week of the regular season.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
FitzCorp will finally get their first win of the season and be on the positive side of a prime time comeback. Unless the 'Bums can keep up their 80+ point momentum. Actually it wouldn't be surprising to have the corporation score 100 and Coach Coaldog put up 101 just for fun.
Spiked Vipers (-1) vs. Baltimorons
How are the 'Morons still undefeated? It doesn't matter. SpiVi will take care of that situation this week, venting some frustration after a tough divisional loss last week. Plus, half of Coach Drew's squad is injured and unavailable.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Well, I had to pick one of these two to win. Flipped a coin. What is going on? These teams should both be scoring more points and doing better than sharing a single win between them. Is this the week one of them breaks out? That depends on who the starting QBs are...
Lightning (-1/2) vs. The Comfy Chair
With three players going tonight, the Bolts will give us a pretty good early idea of where their week is heading. Meanwhile, I hope that the Chair isn't banking on a big game from Kevin Ogletree on Monday night. But there's always Tom Brady to make the prime time games merely meaningless.
And the game of the week...
THE Haw (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Will the anger from Monday night's referee debacle loss push Aaron Rodgers to finally start playing like a #1 pick? I'm not sure, but I'm not picking the Renegades to win again until they show that they can put up more than a couple of points in a week. Plus THE Haw are leading the West division and ready for a big Sunday night.
Good luck this week.

Week 3 Information
Thursday Night: New York Giants @ Carolina Panthers
Sunday Night: New England Patriots @ Baltimore Ravens
Monday Night: Green Bay Packers @ Seattle Seahawks
Bye Week: None until week 4
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 3:
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Marauders
OK, I'll start the week with a reach. Why am I picking the winless Renegades over the undefeated Marauders? I have no idea. But at some point Aaron Rodgers is going to play a game to his #1 pick potential, right? Why not this week? But this pick might change depending on which team forgets to adjust their lineup and remove the red "O" before tonight's game.
Spiked Vipers (-1) vs. THE Haw
I don't see the Vipers losing a game anytime soon. Even against their mentor and his bunch of Giants. Eight of their eighteen play after eight p.m. this week, so that might be some fun watching and smack talking. For one of them.
The Comfy Chair (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
The 'Bums are replacing their QB this week to take advantage of a game against the Browns. He should hope that strategy doesn't backfire against Tom Brady and the Chair. This one will be close until Monday night, but not so much after then.
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Predacons
After looking passable in week one, Jay Cutler put up a goose egg for the Preds last week. And the rest of the team didn't do much better - their 30 point total was the lowest for Coach Sinkerbeam since season 1. The 'Morons will look for their Defense to use MNF to take this game and a commanding lead in the South Division. Although they might not even need it.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
The Stompers have started out the season a little unlucky and it doesn't help that Matthew Stafford is underperforming. It looks like he may be sitting out this week to make room for Joe Flacco (what?) as one of four combined players on Sunday night. Should be an exciting one, right down to the last blow of a replacement ref's whistle.
And the game of the week...
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
The Brew Crew are rolling along this season after almost one time changing their lineup from the auto picks. FitzCorp can't get seem to catch a break, scoring a bunch of points but entering the week without a win. This matchup is even, but the corporation is early week heavy while the Brewers have more players in the later prime time games. It will be gut wrenching. Especially if their streaks continue.
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S12: Week 2 Preview
Our first week saw a Monday night comeback, a one point game, and a 100+ score. Looks like this season is picking up right where the last one left off...
Week 1 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Yuengling Brewers - 102 points
Player MVPs:
Matt Ryan (QB/Atl) - 30 points
Tony Romo (QB/Dal) - 22 points

Week 2 Information
Thursday Night: Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers
Sunday Night: Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers
Monday Night: Denver Broncos @ Atlanta Falcons
Bye Week: None until week 4
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 2:
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. THE Haw
What an unlucky week for the Stompers. They put up a respectable 74 points, only to be edged out by an amazing MNF comeback. The tables will turn this week, though, with COACH Haw watching as the shoes drop two in prime time. And one of them is Matthew Stafford.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
These two high flying teams will score a lot of points, but the matchups favor SpiVi just a bit. Both of them had big Monday nights last week and that will happen again. Get out the nachos and tune in.
Lightning (-1) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Yahoo! sure does pick a good team, no? The defending champs crushed everyone last week by crossing the century mark without live drafting (or even looking at) their roster. It's back to earth this week, though, as the Bolts look to go 2-0 in the division.
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
The #1 pick and the rest of the Renegades looked pretty pedestrian last week. That will all change with a Thursday night matchup at Lambeau that should right the ship. Unless Matt Forte steals the spotlight.
The Comfy Chair (-1/2) vs. Predacons
It's a good week for these two to face off - both are on a bye in the first round of the fantasy baseball playoffs. With a combined 4 players on Thursday night and 3 players on Monday night, it's all going to be decided in prime time. And let's see what the much discussed Kevin Ogletree has to say this week.
And the game of the week...
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
A great matchup from top to bottom, this one will be all over the place. The Marauders have at least one player in every time slot while the 'Bums will start everyone between 1pm and 7:30pm on Sunday. It will be decided by the slimmest of margins.
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S12: Week 1 Preview
Season 12 begins tonight!
Can the Brewers retain the trophy? Will the Lightning finally play in the big game? How will THE Haw deal with all of those capital letters? Can anyone else sign up for a Twitter account? Only the 3FL season will have the answers...
It all starts on Wednesday night!
Remember to have your starting lineups set 5 minutes before the games begin this week. Any players in the Cowboys vs. Giants game will be locked in whichever lineup position you have them at 8:25pm EDT tonight.
Coach Thadtotti once again put together our customized schedule. This year divisional games will be played in weeks 1-3 and 11-13 and week 10 will again our rivalry week. Thanks, spreadsheetgeek.
Voting is up and running for the season. It is actually a pick'em game within the league page. Make sure you vote on all the 3FL games before the beginning of tonight's NFL game and Yahoo! will keep track for us this year. And all managers can vote individually.
Here we go!
Week 1 Information
Wednesday Night: Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants
Sunday Night: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Denver Broncos
Monday Night Early: Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens
Monday Night Late: San Diego Chargers @ Oakland Raiders
Bye Week: None until week 4
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 1:
The first week is always the toughest to predict, but here goes...
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
We'll know a lot more about this one after tonight's game. The Bolts have a player in each time slot this week, so that will be interesting. Also interesting - the Corp will be rooting against LeSean McCoy (sort of) and the Lightning will be rooting for the Ravens Defense.
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Predacons
This battle looks about even except for the QB matchup. #1 overall pick Aaron Rodgers leads the Renegades against the 13th QB picked in the draft, Jay Cutler. The difference will be painfully obvious for the Preds, who may need to get used to this storyline.
THE Haw (-1) vs. Baltimorons
Coach Haw is hoping to start the week off right - he has three players in tonight's game. That's almost more than the Cowboys. But with Arian Foster holding down Sunday, the 'Morons are going to have a tough time this week (despite having starters spread throughout the schedule).
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Neither of these teams was at the controls during the draft, but they should both at least have a look at their lineups before the NFL games begin. Seabass should put the Brew Crew up for good in the late Monday night game (long after bed time). But Coach Coaldog may actually get a phone call from Kendall Wright to thank him for the starting roster spot. Heartwarming. But not winning.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. The Comfy Chair
That Chair logo doesn't look particularly comfy again this year. Just saying. Anyway, Tom Brady will put up some big numbers but it might not be enough to reach the Marauders. As long as Coach Hoss replaces the infirmed in his current starting lineup.
And the game of the week...
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
What a great matchup from top to bottom. The Stompers should have the lead going into the two MNF games as everyone tries to stay up and watch SpiVi attempt the comeback. It will be a fitting end to a very competitive first week of the 3FL.
Good luck in Week 1 and for the rest of Season 12!

3FL Notes: 2012 Draft Analysis
All but one of our teams was represented during online draft on Thursday night. Here is an analysis of the results (in draft order):
1. Renegades: It was a school night, so Val went to sleep after the first seven or so picks. I won't say which half was best, but they did earn The Toyota Best Draft Award (given by Yahoo! to the team projected to score the most points this year). Thanks, Aaron Rodgers. Grade: A-
2. THE Haw: Coach Haw decided to quadruple the number of capital letters in his team name right before the draft started. AND THEN HE WENT ON TO PICK A PRETTY GOOD GROUP OF STARTERS. He has to hope that none of them get injured, though. Grade: B+
3. Lightning: Even with all of those spreadsheets the Bolts still decided to draft Ben Roethlisberger. But other than a little RB uncertainty, this team may have a chance to take Coach Thadtotti to his first ever SuperBowl. Grade: A-
4. Yuengling Brewers: If RG3 turns out to be even half decent in his rookie season, look out for the defending champs. The rest of the team is stacked. Yahoo! autopick wins again! Grade: A
5. The Comfy Chair: This team is set for the future - the second half of the season should be great. As for the opening weeks? TOM BRADY. Grade: B+
6. Spiked Vipers: It looks like SpiVi will again be a force to be reckoned with in 2012. They are like the 2011 all-stars. We'll see if that success can be repeated. Grade: A-
7. Misfits, Inc.: The hopes of the corporation rest on the shoulders of Peyton Manning and the knees of Adrian Peterson (sorry). Megatron will set the bar for WRs again. And there is also an E-A-G-L-E thrown in for fun. Grade: B+
8. Stiletto Stompers: Looks like the QB/TE/WR first three draft strategy was pretty popular this year. The Stompers may surprise everyone with a couple of sleepers and a Matthew Stafford.
Grade: B+
9. Predacons: Their RBs and WRs are top notch. And after that, uh, you know. That's what you get when you wait until the 7th round to draft a QB. Grade: B+
10. Baltimorons: Coach Drew's team has breakout potential with a few thin spots. That's what you get when you draft two QBs in the first six rounds. Grade: B+
11. Dumbbums: There are some assumed risks with asking someone to draft for you. Your ideas and direction may or may not be taken into consideration. We'll never know which it was, but this team may be better than if Coach Coaldog was at the keyboard. Other than the guys I've never heard of... Grade: B
12. Marauders: The last pick in the draft is always a tough spot. The Marauders performed admirably, especially if their players heal from injuries sooner rather than later. Grade: B+
The Comm-nosticator makes his first predictions soon. Stay tuned.
