The Predacons outscored the league to win the second-highest scoring SuperBowl in history.
It was quite a record setting playoffs. Stay tuned later in the week for final stats and the 2024 wrap-up.
Thanks to everyone for another fun season!!

It's SuperBowl week in the 3FL!
For 7th Place:
#3 Baltimorons vs. #4 Yuengling Brewers
Our third and fourth ranked teams somehow find themselves here, fighting to not finish last in the playoffs. Jalen Hurts' mid-game injury sunk the Brew Crew last week, but they're favored to win this one. These teams would have tied had they played each other in the consolation semifinals. Maybe that will happen here?
For 5th Place:
#1 Marauders vs. #7 Misfits, Inc.
Here's a thing about last week–FitzCorp scored more than 100 points but the Marauders did not. Nobody would have predicted that. I mean, 97 is close, and it was enough to put Coach Hoss here in a battle to win the consolation bracket. Can either of them break the century mark this time around? A TE who is not on IR would help.
For 3rd Place:
#6 Dumbbums vs. #8 Renegades
The Renegades could not continue the magic of the curse. After taking down the top seed in the quarterfinals, they scored their lowest total since week two in the semis and will now face the 'Bums for the bronze digital trophy. It's looking like a good matchup and the QBs could really run up the score. Let's just hope the injuries on both teams don't keep players off the field.
3FL SuperBowl XXIII
#2 Predacons vs. #5 the HAW
Here we go! The Preds are back in the big game for a record seventh time after scoring the third-highest weekly playoff total ever and putting up an average postseason margin of victory of 57+ points. But do they have anything left for the SuperBowl? Meanwhile the CAPS won their semifinal game by 37 points despite being an underdog by a TD (and getting -1 point from their FLEX position). It's going to be a great matchup lasting across the entire week with at least one player on every scheduled game day.
Back in week five the Predacons won the only head-to-head matchup between these two, so they'll have the tiebreaker if we need it. The Preds have never won a SB game. The HAW has never lost one. Does that change this year? Things may come down to a MNF showdown with one Lions player for each team trying to lead their squad to the championship.
Will SuperBowl scoring records be broken again? Can Coach HAW be the first to earn one for the thumb? Or will the Preds finally win a championship?? It all comes down to week 17!
Good luck this week!
Merry Christmas and thanks to everyone for another great season!!
Semifinal Games
(Winners play in 3FL SuperBowl XXIV, losers play for 3rd Place)
#2 Predacons vs. #6 Dumbbums
After a wild quarterfinal round the Preds are now the highest seed remaining and the only team in this round with more than seven regular season wins. They looked strong last week, but can they keep it up? The 'Bums used a MNF comeback to secure their spot in the semis and are projected to score a lot of points again. But their comeback attempt will have to happen on Sunday night this week, with two active players closing out this matchup.
#5 the HAW vs. #8 Renegades
The curse strikes again! The eighth seeded Renegades took down the highest scoring team in our history, using a trio on Monday night to erase a 23 point deficit. Meanwhile Jared Goff put his name in the record books for the CAPS last week with a tie for the fifth-most points ever scored in a playoff game. He might not get again 40, but the HAW will need their QB to step up to stop the Renegades from continuing their run. But would it really be an upset victory if the last seeded team is actually favored by a TD?
Consolation Games
(Winners play for 5th Place, losers play for 7th)
#1 Marauders vs. #4 Yuengling Brewers
Wow. The Marauders were really poised for a championship repeat after breaking records and entering the playoffs winning six games in a row. They even scored 100+ points again. But instead of defending the title they find themselves in the consolation bracket against the Brew Crew, who played against the top scoring team of week 15. This will be a good matchup between our last two SuperBowl winners with Coach Hoss having a slight edge (and a chance at a MNF comeback).
#3 Baltimorons vs. #7 Misfits, Inc.
There are a lot of red letters beside player names on these two teams. It's going to be interesting to see how the starting lineups get filled, but it's looking like it might be closer than it appears at this writing. And if FitzCorp does a few swaps from the bench they just might find themselves playing to win the consolation bracket next week.
Good luck this week! The SuperBowl awaits!!
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 14:
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Not much to see here. The 'Morons have officially clinched a playoff spot and the 'Bums have unofficially clinched one even with a loss here. It will be a good game with both QBs playing under the lights. But the only thing at stake is a little shifting in the standings.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
In another game with little possible impact, the Corporation faces off against PEP in one that's hard to call at this point. The questions are all around the coaching decisions. Will FitzCorp swap for injured/bye week players before tonight's game? And will the Phenoms hit the waiver wire for a K (or a WR if they don't have enough healthy ones on the roster)?
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Lightning
The North Division is already locked up by the Preds but a win here would keep them in the top spot in the league. Is that the best plan going into the postseason? The already eliminated Bolts will make this one close, especially since some core Predacons players are on a bye this week.
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Now this one is important. The winner here will be crowned champion of the West and the CAPS have the edge in the projections. They can get off to a good start tonight, but then all players will be done and the game decided just after dinner on Sunday. Is Mahomes going to sit on the bench again??
And the games of the week...
Marauders (-1) vs. Renegades
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 13:
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
WOW. The Marauders just posted our highest regular season weekly total ever (and third-highest weekly score of all time). They not only outscored their opponent by more than 100, but they also posted more points than 4 other game totals (both teams combined) last week. They can't do that again, but it's going to be tough for the 'Bums to beat our new scoring leader.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
With last week's win the Preds snagged our first postseason berth. Now they just have to focus on the division title and staying in the top spot. Or maybe that's not the best idea? FitzCorp is going to make it close and has a chance at a Sunday night comeback. Will snow in Buffalo be better or worse for a fantasy Defense?
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1) vs. Lightning
This game is huge. The loser will be eliminated from playoff contention while the winner...might also be eliminated depending on what happens in a couple other games. PEP has a huge advantage if Purdy is healthy and Pacheco comes off the IR in time for Friday's game. Actually they also look pretty good if neither of those things happen.
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
Somehow the CAPS took a loss last week as a 27 point favorite. Picking the wrong QB (again) didn't help, but playing the winless Vipers may be just what they need now. Then again, we keep proving that anything can happen in the 3FL. Can SpiVi earn a victory after 14 failed attempts? Or will they add their name to the longest losing streak list?
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Somehow the Stompers picked up a win without starting a QB last week. I'm not sure that's a good strategy to continue implementing, especially when playing the team at the top of their division and sitting just outside of the playoff eight. The Brew Crew is favored here but the matchup will stretch throughout Thanksgiving week. Half of their combined players have games outside of the Sunday afternoon time slots.
And the game of the week...
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Renegades
It would have probably been better as a win, but the Renegades' tie and the half game that goes along with it are making things interesting in the middle of the standings. Coach Val's team can leapfrog the 'Morons with a win here and it's going to come down to the wire. Both teams have players going in the same NFL game multiple times this week. It should be fun to watch!
Happy Thanksgiving and good luck this week!
Week 12 Information
Thursday Night: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns
Sunday Night: Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams
Monday Night: Baltimore Ravens @ Los Angeles Chargers
Bye Week: Bengals, Bills, Falcons, Jaguars, Jets, Saints
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 12:
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Lightning
This one could go either way. The Bolts need a win and the byes are not helping. But FitzCorp has some of their own swaps that will need to be made before game time. There are a combined three players going tonight and four in the prime time games that will stretch things out for the entire week.
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
The winless streak is up to an unlucky 13 games for SpiVi, but they have a real shot at their first victory of 2024 against the Brew Crew. The Beermen were our lowest scoring team last week and they only have one player projected to hit double digits. Everyone will be watching the Sunday night game with the Eagles and Rams split along team lines.
the HAW (-1) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Should this one be close? Probably not. As of this writing the CAPS are 30+ point favorites, in large part because the Stompers don't have a QB on the roster who has a scheduled game. Even if they fix that issue it's not looking good. Regardless of if Mahomes or Goff get the start for Coach HAW.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
The Preds are not coming off a great week, but they're still alone in the top spot. Which means this game is way more important to PEP. They're two games back from the eighth seed with only three games to go. A good start tonight would help, but it will also be interesting to see if Pacheco comes off the Phenoms' IR in time for Sunday's game.
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
It's a shame that both teams have last week's highest scoring player on a bye for this game. But it will still be one to watch. The Renegades have the edge in the projections, but don't count out a 'Bums' prime time comeback.
And the game of the week...
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
This is a great matchup to close out week 12. Our #2 and #3 teams have the same record and are only nine points apart in season scoring. And it's even more fun since the winner will take sole control of the East Division. QBs will tell the story and we'll have to wait until MNF to find out the victor.
Good luck this week.
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 38/60 - 63.33%
Yahoo! Projections: 35/60 - 58.33%
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 11:
Renegades (-1/2) vs. the HAW
This is going to be a good one, and we'll know the winner after the Sunday afternoon games. There is a concern about all those Qs on the Renegades roster and a question about if their Kicker is going to end up on IR. But still, a great matchup no matter what. Even if Goff starts over Mahomes again for the CAPS.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
No team has clinched a postseason spot yet, but the Preds could do it this week with a win and a little help. They've won their last four and are in our top spot by a game-and-a-half. They're also the only team to have scored 1,000 points so far this season. Should someone remind them about the curse?
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Spiked Vipers
Last week was oh so close for SpiVi on Monday night, but they remain winless in their last dozen 3FL games. Is this the week they finally break through? It won't be easy, but they'll have another shot at a MNF QB comeback after watching two 'Morons play on Sunday night.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
This matchup starts tonight with players from both teams, but then after FitzCorp's lineup is finished on Sunday there will still be four Marauders to watch in the night games. So we can safely say there won't be another comeback by the Corporation to win by a single point. But it will be a competitive game.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Ja'Marr Chase scored 44 points for PEP last week, the most in a single game by any player so far this year. He might not post that many this week, but the Phenoms have a chance to win again and get closer to a postseason spot. A big game tonight by the Brew Crew's three Eagles would be the one thing that could spoil that plan.
And the game of the week...
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Both teams enter this game on a two game losing streak and out of the playoff picture. A win here is important, especially for the Bolts who just posted their lowest weekly total since 2020. But luckily for them the Colts have decided to start Anthony Richardson (after two weeks on the bench). It won't be over until both kickers both have a say in prime time.
Good luck this week.
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for Rivalry Week:
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Our favorite rivalry game has a lot of questions surrounding it this year. Will top pick Christian McCaffrey be ready to finally score his first points of the season? Will the Renegades have to pick up a WR to fill a spot vacated by an injured player? Will the Stompers replace their D with one that has an NFL game this week?
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
This game gets started tonight with two players from each team going on TNF. The matchups are giving the edge to PEP, but can they pull the upset against last week's highest scoring squad? They can. And it will be on the backs of the RBs.
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
With identical records and W-1 streaks, these teams come into this game evenly matched. Even their scoring totals are only 26 points apart after nine weeks of the season. Things are leaning the 'Bums way but they have a QB decision to make. Will it decide the game or just the margin of victory?
The HAW (-1/2) vs. Lightning
These two are only separated by one spot in the standings and one game in the win column. But their scoring totals are different by more than 200 points! It's probably a good idea to pick the CAPS here because of those numbers. Especially if the Bolts start Anthony Richardson again while he's sitting on the Colts' bench.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
Streaks are the storyline in this one. The Marauders have scored 100+ points in five straight games and they might be able to pass the century mark again this week. Meanwhile SpiVi is now up to 11 games in a row without a victory. It's not for lack of effort, though. They already have 29 player moves, 10+ more than any other team. The QBs going head-to-head on MNF will at least make it fun.
And the Rivalry Week game of the week...
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
It's a heavyweight matchup as our #1 and #2 teams battle in what is projected to be the highest scoring game of Rivalry Week. The Preds have won their last three in a row while the Brew Crew is riding a four game winning streak. It's going to be really close and it will come down to Sunday night. Could it be our second tie of the season?
Good luck this week.
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 9:
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Stiletto Stompers
These two are right next to each other in the standings even though the 'Morons have scored 111 more points this season. It's supposed to be a blowout and the Stompers aren't helping to counteract that projection by starting a WR tonight who is on IR.
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Lightning
Our two blue helmet with red background teams (FYI - there are a lot of new logo designs to pick from this year) face off in a matchup that's difficult to predict. Mostly because the Bolts do not currently have a QB on their roster who is going to play in an NFL game this week.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
On the other hand, the Marauders have three starting QBs on their team at the moment. Coach Hoss's choice could be the difference in this game, as could the five combined players going in tonight's Texans/Jets battle.
Predacons (-1) vs. Spiked Vipers
The Preds jumped up into the top spot after last week's win and are also leading the league in scoring. Meanwhile SpiVi is in last place and hasn't won in 10 straight games, and they're also our lowest scoring team. So what do those things mean? Nothing. It's the 3FL and we all know that anything can happen.
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
They may have matching records but the CAPS have scored almost 20 more points per game than FitzCorp after our first eight weeks. This one seems like it will be closer than that margin, though. Coach HAW might have to deal with a third straight game that's decided by two or fewer points.
And the game of the week...
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Last week the Brew Crew outscored everyone else in the league while the Renegades had our lowest score. That will not be the case again here. Our matchup of the #2 and #3 teams will be tight, with two 'Gades SNF players giving way to two Beermen on MNF as they try to complete a comeback.
Happy Halloween and good luck this week!
We just witnessed a 20+ point comeback for a 1 point victory thanks to the MNF double header. And suddenly we're halfway through our regular season. What's in store for the next seven weeks?
Thankfully we get break from the byes this week. All NFL teams are scheduled to play.
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
This one is going to be fun. Both teams are in the top five and are currently on two game winning streaks. The matchups give a slight edge to the 'Morons, but they also have to hope that some of those Qs clear up before Sunday afternoon.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Marauders
The Preds outscored everyone last week and have been on the good side of the biggest blowout for four out of the past five weeks. And the Marauders got just enough from a couple MNF players to close a 21 point gap and win by one. Both of these things are unlikely to happen again here, especially the second one since there are no scheduled prime time games for either team.
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Not only did the CAPS have to endure the previously mentioned comeback and lose by a single point (after scoring 115), but they now sit out of the playoff eight despite being the second-highest scoring team in the league. They have another tough battle this week and the 'Bums own our current longest winning streak at three games. Can they make it four?
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Coach Val remains on top, but she shouldn't sleep on this game. Even though they sit in 10th place, the Bolts are actually favored in the projections and they have a real shot at their third victory. A Frieirmuuuuuth MNF comeback would make it even more sweet.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
It's a contest that rests on the attention of the managers to swap out injured/suspended players, and I'm not sure if/when that will happen. It's hard to predict at this point but let's go with the team that has scored an average of ~2 more PPW this season.
And the game of the week...
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1) vs. Spiked Vipers
Our bottom two teams face off in what will give one a bit of hope and the other a near impossible chance at the postseason. SpiVi hasn't won in nine weeks and PEP has only earned a victory once so far this year (back in W3). The Phenoms are the definite favorites here, but it will come down to two Steelers on Monday Night to seal the game.
Good luck this week.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
This one is hard to call, mostly because almost half of the Stompers starters are on a bye. Will they be subbed out? Will Kirk Cousins make the most of his week in the spotlight? Or will Lamar Jackson pull the Predacons ahead during MNF?
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Lightning
The 'Morons have jumped up into second place and are our top scoring team after the first six weeks. They take on a Bolts squad that is projected to have only one player score in double digits (and that's the QB who has been injured for the past two weeks). It could be ugly.
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
It's about time for a SpiVi win. They haven't earned a W since last year's playoff quarterfinals, and last week they posted the lowest score of the year (and their lowest weekly total since week two of the 2017 season). The matchups favor the 'Bums, but they'll be also be relying on a prime time comeback with four players in late games.
Yuengling Brewers (-1) vs. Misfits, Inc.
The Brew Crew outscored everyone last week, and that was while having a zero and a one in two of their skill positions. I'm not sure they'll repeat that feat in this one, but FitzCorp will need to swap some players to keep up no matter what.
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
Well this is interesting. Coach Val's team is back in first place just in time for a household matchup. I'm not betting against the Renegades as they take on the 1-5 Phenoms, especially since PEP will be relying on a couple of Steelers' performances under the bright lights on Sunday night to close out the game.
And the game of the week...
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Marauders
So is Goff getting the start over Mahomes? He's taking reps with the HAW's first team as of Thursday, but I'll believe that when players are locked in on Sunday. The Marauders scored the second highest total last week but lost and that might happen again here. It's going to be a close one.
Good luck this week.
The Stompers lost, the Lightning won, and our highest scoring week of the year also saw our first tie. What's next?
Don't forget there is another game across the pond at 9:30am on Sunday.
Week 5 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Predacons - 117 points
Player MVPs:
Joe Burrow (QB/Cin/B) - 35 points
Lamar Jackson (QB/Bal/P) - 33 points
Ja'Marr Chase (WR/Cin/PEP) - 31 points
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 6:
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Last week saw the Stompers lose for the first time this season and they were our only remaining undefeated team. And this game is almost too close to call. But the 'Bums had better hope Breece Hall doesn't have to make up too many points as their last hope on MNF.
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Marauders
This one is shaping up to be a great battle, with only the slightest of edges going to the Marauders because of their RBs. But it's also possible Jalen Hurts finally has a breakout game and that could be all the Brew Crew needs to get back to .500.
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Predacons
The Preds just took over first place in the standings and they have recorded the Biggest Blowout™ for the past three weeks in a row. That all stops here, though, as the 'Morons have the better matchups and a chance at a quick start tonight.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Lightning
Our bottom two teams face off in an interesting matchup. The Bolts finally won one last week but SpiVi could only muster a tie. Another loss here will make a difficult road to the postseason for either team. Ten combined Questionable players is already a bad start, but is it possible the Lightning won't even be able to complete their starting lineup?
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. the HAW
Both of these teams could use a little luck right now. PEP lost by a single point last week while the CAPS scored 96 points but somehow came out on the wrong end of the largest margin of victory. QBs will tell the story of this one, mostly because Mahomes is on a bye for Coach HAW. But after scoring only 6 points last week maybe Goff deserves a chance anyway?
And the game of the week...
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
Perhaps the Renegades should have had an easy W last week, but they at least came away with a tie thanks to a big Vikings defensive performance. But Minnesota is on a bye this week. FitzCorp is quietly in third place, but they'll have to pick the right starters (and pick up a kicker) to stay there. It's going to be a close one.
Good luck this week.
All six winning teams scored more than 100 points last week, while the none of the losing teams scored more than 70. That was an interesting end to the first set of divisional games.
The byes start this week – make sure your team is ready. And don't forget about the 9:30am game on Sunday from Old England!
Week 4 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Misfits, Inc. - 107 points
Player MVPs:
Derrick Henry (RB/Bal/MI) - 32 points
Kenneth Walker III (RB/Sea/B) - 29 points
Lamar Jackson (QB/Bal/P) - 24 points
Week 5 Information
Thursday Night: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons
Sunday Morning: New York Jets @ Minnesota Vikings
Sunday Night: Dallas Cowboys @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Monday Night: New Orleans Saints @ Kansas City Chiefs
Bye Week: Chargers, Eagles, Lions, Titans
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 5:
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Predacons
These two are matched up evenly but the Preds have half of their team marked as Questionable. And isn't Mahomes due for a breakout game? We'll have to wait for MNF to see if that happens, or if Kareem Hunt surprises everyone instead.
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Lightning
Things have not been good for the Bolts lately. They've lost their last seven straight (going back to last season) and another L here would put them on the records page. But they have a chance to turn things around against the Brew Crew, who has lost two in a row and (because of bye weeks) are starting Bo Nix at QB.
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Misfits, Inc.
Matching records or not, the matchups favor the 'Morons in a big way in this one. That is if they can find a single healthy RB and if FitzCorp doesn't outscore everyone again this week.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Marauders
The Stompers are rolling right now and they are still our only undefeated team. The defending champs have a chance to hand them a first loss, but Saquon Barkley's bye is not helping that cause. Thursday and Sunday nights will tell the story with 1/3 of the combined players in one of those games.
Renegades (-1) vs Spiked Vipers
There are a lot of good players on IR between these two. SpiVi is still searching for their first win of the year and they may have to keep looking. Especially if the Renegades find a TE to plug into the lineup as a bye week replacement.
And the game of the week...
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
They have the same record and their scoring totals are within two points of each other after the first month of the season. The 'Bums start things off tonight, but PEP will have a chance for a Sunday night comeback during the Steelers game. Will it be enough?
Good luck this week.
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 4:
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
With five players going in the prime time games this week, FitzCorp is hoping they can put together a big comeback and get back to their winning ways. But that also depends on some Q designations and the Phenoms choice of a FLEX player.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Lightning
The Bolts could really use their first win since W12 of last season. The Preds have a different idea, though, and extending that streak would keep Coach Sinkerbeam's team atop the North with a perfect divisional record in the first set of games.
Stiletto Stompers (-1) vs. Spiked Vipers
Don't look now, but the Stompers are our top team and the only undefeated squad left. All this despite the fact that they are ninth in scoring. It looks like they'll get another W here, as long as the Cowboys do well tonight and some of those Questionable players take the field on Sunday.
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Scoring more than 300 points after the first three games is a good start and the 'Morons are one of two teams to do that. They have an even matchup here, but is Jaden Daniels poised for another breakout game that tips the scales toward the 'Bums?
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Marauders
Speaking of 300, the Renegades have the highest total in the league going into this week (1 point ahead of the Baltimorons). They've been our top scoring team in two out of three weeks so far this season. That might not happen again but they are in good hands with Josh Allen being the only player with a game scheduled after dinner on Sunday.
And the game of the week...
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
This is projected to be the highest scoring game of the week by far and it's going to be a close one too. The excitement will last all week as there is a player in every scheduled game. The QB matchup is key, but so are all those Qs (with most of them on the Brew Crew side).
Good luck this week.
Our first week of divisional games was not as close as anyone thought. But two teams scored more than 125 points and we saw some breakout individual player totals.
There are two MNF games to make things even more interesting this week!
Week 2 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Yuengling Brewers - 138 points
Player MVPs:
Alvin Kamara (RB/NO/B) - 41 points
Kyler Murray (QB/Ari/MI) - 28 points
James Cook (RB/Buf/SV) - 26 points
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 3:
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
FitzCorp is 2-0 but things are leaning away from them this week. The Preds got back to even after a terrible first game and they look solid here, but they're going to have to address the TE situation at some point.
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Renegades
So the Renegades came back to earth after their high flying start, going from the top total in the league in week one to the lowest total in week two. They'll be in in the middle this time around, and it will all come down to the QB duel on double MNF.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
These two are evenly matched and it should be a fun one to watch. Both are hoping for a big game from the Jets tonight, but Coach Hoss is also hoping that Jordan Love heals up by Sunday at 1pm.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
Both of these teams have point totals just about even with their North Division rivals, but they're both still looking for their first win of the season. It's a toss up as they match up well across the roster. But that's only if Joe Mixon is healthy enough to play.
the HAW (-1) vs. Spiked Vipers
These two teams are also winless through our first two weeks. Someone will pick up their first victory here, and it's looking like the CAPS should run away with it. It will still be entertaining to watch the five combined starters on Sunday night though.
And the game of the week...
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
The Brew Crew is riding an eleven game regular season winning streak into this matchup of unbeatens. Can they make it a dozen? Or will the Stompers roll to 3-0 and stand alone atop the division? They'll have to hope some of those Qs disappear before Sunday afternoon to have a chance.
Good luck this week.
The league kicked off our 24th year by scoring more than 1,000 points in week one and most of the matchups were super close. We saw point margins of 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 and 56.
The East Division currently holds the top three spots in the standings but that won't last because the first set of intradivisional games starts this week. Make sure your team is ready!
Week 1 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Renegades - 125 points
Player MVPs:
Saquon Barkley (RB/Phi/M) - 30 points
Josh Allen (QB/Buf/R) - 29 points
Chris Boswell (K/Pit/B) - 26 points
Jake Moody (K/SF/R) - 26 points
Week 2 Information
Thursday Night: Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins
Sunday Night: Chicago Bears @ Houston Texans
Monday Night: Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles
Bye Week: None until week 5
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 2:
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Yes, I am aware that the Renegades were our highest scoring team by a wide margin. And they won the biggest blowout. And they have the best drafted team (A+!). But the matchups are leaning things in the direction of the 'Bums, and that's even if the overall #1 pick is able to get onto the field.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
They may be in last place now, but SpiVi was only a couple points away from a win and a much higher spot in the standings. They look poised for a rebound game this week. But we'll have to wait until after dinner on Sunday to have any idea about the outcome. Five players (including both QBs) are scheduled in the night games.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Predacons
The Preds earned an A grade for their draft and were projected to score the most points in the league in week one. That didn't happen and now they find themselves in 11th place after ending up on the wrong end of the biggest blowout. PEP was slightly better but still lost by a couple, so both are looking to not go 0-2 to start the season.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
You'd think Coach Hoss's team would have an easy one this week based on the matchups, but we all know how these things go. Both teams start things off tonight but we'll have to wait for three Marauders in prime time to see if the comeback worked.
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
The CAPS had a solid week to start the season but managed to end up with a loss. In fact, they outscored all but two of the teams in the league, including the Stompers. They'll get a chance to make up for it here and the projections are in their favor.
And the game of the week...
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
This is going to be a good one. It might not be the highest scoring game of the week but it's looking like the most evenly matched. The Bolts will get a head start tonight and then FitzCorp will be waiting on the two WR night game performances for the comeback.
Good luck this week.
Can the Marauders defend the title from the Sunshine State? Or will we finally have another new name on the trophy? And will any of the teams with plain helmets change their logo?? There are a lot more options this year! The 24rd 3FL season will have these answers.
It all starts tonight. Get your team ready to go!
And remember, there is also a Friday Night game this week in São Paulo, Brazil. Vamos então!
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 1:
The first week is always the toughest to predict, but here goes...
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. the HAW
It's looking like a great set of matchups around the league as we kick off our 24th season. This one is even across all positions, and the four players set for prime time games will make it even more exciting as we end the week. The 'Morons have a slight edge thanks to the FLEX spot.
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
I'm not sure why these two are starting Defenses tonight against each other (and against two high powered offenses). But that should be a fun way to begin a matchup that features more than half of the players in games that start after 8pm EDT.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
This one might honestly come down to the health of a Kicker. There is a player in each of the six time slots so the points will be spread throughout the week, starting with two per side going in KC tonight.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
Maybe we'll have a tie in week one? That would be a fun way to start things off. The Stompers have five of their starters on just two NFL teams, so they'd better be rooting for the Cowboys and Bucs. Those links will make or break their chances.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Lightning
This battle of the autodrafted lineups gives us another close one. Coach Hoss has the advantage thanks to his RBs, but you'd have to think the Bolts aren't going to stick with teammates in the backfield by the time 1pm on Sunday rolls around. Right?
And the game of the week...
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Predacons
The teams with our top two draft grades face off in our first week to see if those letters mean anything. Lamar Jackson can give the Preds a head start tonight, but the Renegades (and their A+) have a couple players ready to lead a Monday Night comeback.
Good luck in Week 1 and for the rest of Season 24!
Most of our twelve teams were represented at some point during the online draft on Thursday night. Here is an analysis of the results (in draft order):
1. Renegades: It's not easy earning the Best Draft with the first pick. Christian McCaffrey and Josh Allen are probably the reason for that, but Coach Val needs to hope for healthy starters. And a Chubb return to prominence (in a few weeks). Grade: A- (Yahoo! Grade: A+)
2. Stiletto Stompers: That is a lot of Cowboys, which could actually be a good or a bad thing. But the Stompers could use a trade for a starting RB. Grade: C+ (Yahoo! Grade: B+)
3. Lightning: For future reference the WiFi on an Alaskan cruise may not be adequate for a fantasy football draft. I'm also wondering why the autodraft chose all those Dolphins and a backup TE? Grade: C- (Yahoo! Grade: C)
4. Dumbbums: Going with rookies at starting QB and FLEX is an interesting strategy. We'll see if the rest of the lineup can pick up the slack. The projections say the 'Bums will earn only one win this season, but I'm thinking...more than that? Grade: D (Yahoo! Grade: D)
5. Yuengling Brewers: The Hurts/Smith hookup highlights another solid draft by the Brew Crew. The bench might not be of much help, but their starting lineup looks scary. Grade: A (Yahoo! Grade: A-)
6. Phys. Ed. Phenoms: This team is way better than Yahoo! is thinking. The RBs are top notch and the WRs will perform well after getting in some reps. Maybe the grade is lowered because nobody knows some of the players on the bench? Grade: B- (Yahoo! Grade: C-)
7. Baltimorons: Well, at least the 'Morons were slightly above last year's draft grade of an F. But then again, they made the SuperBowl last season. So maybe Coach Drew knows something that Yahoo! doesn't? Grade: C- (Yahoo! Grade: D-)
8. the HAW: Mahomes and Justin Jefferson? We can stop right there. This is an above average team for sure, even if you don't look at the rest of the picks (which are actually quite good). Grade: B (Yahoo! Grade: B)
9. Predacons: I'm not sure there has ever been a grade this high for the Preds. But I don't think I agree. They picked RB-RB-QB like it was 2007 and the team ended up fine but not great. Grade: B (Yahoo! Grade: A)
10. Marauders: Coach Hoss will begin his title defense with an autodrafted team that appears to be right in the middle of the pack. The RBs could give them a slight bump. Grade: C+ (Yahoo! Grade: C)
11. Spiked Vipers: Taking Travis Kelce first may have been a little bit of a stretch, but it doesn't look like SpiVi deserved such a low score. I mean, they didn't even pick a Defense until the 10th round! Grade: C- (Yahoo! Grade: D-)
12. Misfits, Inc.: Having the last pick isn't usually the best but FitzCorp did what they could with it. Some of these players might just outperform their projections. They will probably need to find some help in the backfield, though. Grade: C (Yahoo! Grade: D)
The Comm-nosticator makes his first predictions soon. Stay tuned.

Player MVPs to come...
Congratulations to Coach Hoss on winning his third 3FL championship (and second in the past three years)! Since the 2021 season, his team has gone from first to worst and now back to first.
The Marauders held off a Sunday night comeback and earned the victory by just two points thanks to a strong late afternoon showing by a couple of Steelers players.
Stay tuned later in the week for final stats and the 2023 season wrap-up.
Thanks to everyone for another fun season!!
