The streak is over. After 13 straight wins the Bolts felt defeat for the first time since last November. It was the second longest winning streak in our history and the longest in the past 8 years.
Don't forget that they scheduled another London game early on Sunday. Yay, Wembley Stadium! Make sure your lineup is set.
Week 8 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Phys. Ed. Phenoms - 119 points
Player MVPs:
Tevin Coleman (RB/SF/P) - 35 points
Aaron Jones (RB/GB/MI) - 33 points
Mike Evans (WR/TB/M) - 31 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 27/48 - 56.25%
Yahoo! Projections: 26/48 - 54.17%
Week 9 Information
Thursday Night: San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals
Sunday Early: Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Sunday Night: New England Patriots @ Baltimore Ravens
Monday Night: Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants
Bye Week: Bengals, Falcons, Rams, Saints
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 9:
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Predacons
The Preds just handed the Lightning their first loss in an entire regular season worth of games. But don't crown them just yet - literally ANY OTHER TEAM would have beaten the Bolts last week. This game will be extremely close and run through all NFL game times. It's just a shame that the Stompers don't have Mahomes or Kamara available to tip the scales even more.
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Drew's squad picked up an important victory last week and may earn a second W in a row against a top-tier opponent. That is if all of his Qs turn out to be active on Sunday. Meanwhile the Brew Crew will try to make do with all of their Falcons on a bye (while their head coach probably gets fired).
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Ok, hear me out. I realize that the CAPS are in last place in the league with only five games until the playoffs. But they are only one game out of a postseason spot and have scored the third highest point total this year. Take a quick look at their lineup and tell me that you'd bet against them to play in week 14.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Marauders
Now that the streak is over it might be time for the Bolts to concentrate on the postseason. And do they really want to keep the #1 seed? The Marauders will put up a good fight, but this may end up as the first win in a new Lightning streak. RB vs. RB on Sunday night will be the highlight.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
SpiVi remains our top scoring team (by more than 20 points) and their average PPW might actually go up after this game. It will be a RB show, with their combined backfields projected to put up more than 60 combined points. The Corporation has multiple bye week fill-ins to fill and that might be just too much to overcome.
And the game of the week...
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Our annual household matchup is the perfect GOTW for this week. PEP has been in the league since 2015 and this is the fifth matchup between the spouses. Coach Greg has won the previous four. The Renegades have a chance to finally win one this week (unless they forget to take the injured Chase Edmonds out of their starting lineup before tonight's game).
Happy Halloween and good luck this week!

3FL Notes: S19: Week 8 Preview
Last week was our lowest scoring one so far this season, but somehow more records were set anyway. And the Bolts just can't stop winning.
Week 7 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Renegades - 145 points (T-3rd all-time)
Player MVPs:
Aaron Rodgers (QB/GB/R) - 44 points (4th all-time)
Marvin Jones, Jr. (WR/Det/L) - 33 points
Chase Edmonds (RB/Ari/R) - 32 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 24/42 - 57.14%
Yahoo! Projections: 21/42 - 50%
Week 8 Information
Thursday Night: Washington Redskins @ Minnesota Vikings
Sunday Night: Green Bay Packers @ Kansas City Chiefs
Monday Night: Miami Dolphins @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Bye Week: Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 8:
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Predacons
With a win this week the Bolts will make it 14 in a row, tying our longest winning streak of all time. The Preds might have spoiled things if it was any other week. But with Lamar Jackson on a bye they'll have to just hit the waiver wire and cross their fingers.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Renegades
What. Was. That?? The Renegades went crazy last week, scoring a ton of points and watching their QB post the highest player total in almost four years. That's not likely to happen again this week. But you never know, right? Even if FitzCorp is favored by more than two touchdowns.
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
The QB matchup is a good one, but the best part of this battle is going to be the prime time ending. Can all of those Steelers push the 'Bumbs ahead? Or will the big projection advantage for the Brew Crew be true?
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
Both of these teams are 3-4 and right at the bottom edge of the playoff picture. But Coach Hoss' team has scored an average of 18 more points per week than PEP. They might not win by that many this week, but they definitely have a slight advantage in the matchups.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. the HAW
SpiVi remains our highest scoring team, averaging 104+ points per game. That's a TD per week more than our second highest scoring team. Those totals should continue this week against the hard luck HAW. Could anyone have guessed that they would be in 12th place with only a single win after the first two months of the season?
And the game of the week...
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Regardless of their records and places in the standings, this is going to be a great game. It's will all depend on which of the Qs turn into Os. Advantage goes to the Stompers since they actually have some players on the bench who can replace the starters on game day if necessary.
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S19: Week 7 Preview
Half of last week's games ended with a Monday night comeback and the Bolts' streak continued. Can you believe we're officially at the halfway point of the season?
Week 6 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Marauders - 114 points
Player MVPs:
Stefon Diggs (WR/Min/M) - 35 points
Matt Ryan (QB/Atl/L) - 31 points
Kyler Murray (QB/Ari/SV) - 27 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 21/36 - 58.33%
Yahoo! Projections: 20/36 - 55.56%
Week 7 Information
Thursday Night: Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos
Sunday Night: Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys
Monday Night: New England Patriots @ New York Jets
Bye Week: Browns, Buccaneers, Panthers, Steelers
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 7:
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Both of these teams need to pick up the pace if they want to end the year in the playoffs, and a good start would be with a win here. It's going to be a good matchup between the 10th and 11th place teams. It will all come down to if any of the 'Morons WRs actually play.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Don't look now but Coach Hoss' team has now outscored the league in two of the last three weeks. They won't do it again this week with their two best players on a bye, but they should at least pick up a W since the 'Bums have the same issue.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. the HAW
The Bolts' winning streak has reached twelve games, just two shy of our all-time record. So wouldn't it be crazy if our current last place team could put a stop to it? I'm officially picking the Lightning (because 12 in a row) but I'm just saying that this could be the upset special of the year.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
It's been an up and down year for both of these teams, but Patrick Mahomes can make up for a lot of other things. Coach Bev will need him to start out with a big game tonight since Saquon Barkley just might be back for the Corporation (after only three weeks high ankle sprain healing).
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
The matchups mostly favor the Brew Crew in this one. That's not to say that PEP can't snag a victory, but they'll need their RBs to outperform projections. As for the Brewers, they'd better hope to have a victory earned before Sunday night. I'm not sure that their TE is going to fuel a comeback.
And the game of the week...
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Predacons
These two teams are both 4-2 and are first and second in scoring. We should see a great game here, but neither team should even come close to their 100+ points per week average. And the Preds have little chance of picking the correct two RBs.
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S19: Week 6 Preview
The first F in the 3FL stands for family, and sometimes that is the most important part of our league. Our hearts go out to Coach Greg & Val at this difficult time, and we also celebrate with them as they welcomed a new baby girl to their family. It was all the emotions in one day.
Last week the league saw multiple records broken and a winning streak extended. Make sure you are paying attention this week – there are four teams on a bye and a 9:30am EDT game on Sunday.
Week 5 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: the HAW - 145 points (3rd all-time)
Player MVPs:

Christian McCaffrey (RB/Car/B) - 41 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 18/30 - 60%
Yahoo! Projections: 17/30 - 56.67%
The Comm-nosticator was 6/6 in week 5 predictions
Week 6 Information
Thursday Night: New York Giants @ New England Patriots
Sunday Morning: Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday Night: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Los Angeles Chargers
Monday Night: Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers
Bye Week: Bears, Bills, Colts, Raiders
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 6:
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
The whole Steelers strategy didn't work out too well for the 'Bums this season, but maybe starting the QB who is playing against them will help? Sunday night has their two Ds against each other, then MNF will seal up a couple point comeback for Coach Bev.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
The Preds picked up another win and maintained their #2 scoring ranking, but suddenly they have four Qs and an O to deal with. The Phenoms literally don't have a second RB on their roster who has a game this week. It could be a toss up.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
ELEVEN in a row. The Bolts now stand alone with the second longest winning streak in our history. Can they make it one more? The 'Morons may be favored by 3 points but you'd be foolish to bet against Coach Thad for the past long time.
the HAW (-1) vs. Renegades
The CAPS finally won a game this year, and they did it by scoring our third highest weekly point total of all time. Whoa. The problem for the Renegades is that they're set to do it again, with five players projected to score in the double digits.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Speaking of high point totals, SpiVi quietly put up the fourth highest weekly point total of all time last week. And they are currently second in the league standings and first in scoring. It's a daunting task for the Brew Crew but thanks to the matchups they're going to make it close.
And the game of the week...
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Marauders
These two are really evenly matched, which is saying something since a couple of injured stars are on the Corporation's bench. And one is in the starting lineup. There is a player from at least one of these teams on the field for each of the six game times, the drama will run all weekend.
Good luck this week.

Week 4 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Marauders - 115 points
Player MVPs:
Nick Chubb (RB/Cle/M) - 35 points
Jameis Winston (QB/TB/MI) - 29 points

Week 5 Information

Sunday Night: Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs
Monday Night: Cleveland Browns @ San Francisco 49ers
Bye Week: Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 5:
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
These two have 8 (EIGHT!) championships between them, but so far this season they only have one combined win. The CAPS are riding a 5 game losing streak but it's looking like they can put a stop to that here. So long as they have a productive game tonight.
Lightning (-1) vs. Dumbbums
Speaking of streaks, the Bolts have won their last 10 in a row, tying the second longest winning streak in our history. Can they extend the streak and maintain their position at the top of the league? Or will the 'Bums outperform the projections?
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
The Preds have already put up more than 400 points this season and they're currently our highest scoring team. This fact has not translated to wins, though, as they're sitting at .500. They have a good chance at another win against the injured Corporation, but picking RBs will be tricky.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Marauders
Both of these teams are 2-2 and only 10 points separate their season point totals. You'd think this would be an even matchup, but the Stompers are favored by a bunch. And maybe even more if they take a quick look at who is starting.
Yuengling Brewers (-1) vs. Renegades
Coach Val's team has scored in the 40's for the last two weeks in a row. Can they top the half-century mark this week against the Brew Crew? All the matchups seem to favor the Beermen. Ok, all except the TE. But come on.
And the game of the week...
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
SpiVi took their first loss last week but they are still in good shape atop the South division. The Phenoms have lost their last two but have a shot at a win here. The RBs are going to tell the story but Baker Mayfield will write the last chapter on MNF.
Good luck this week.
