3FL Notes: S20: Week 2 Preview

Football is back and we saw a little bit of everything in week one! Some personnel decisions were a little difficult thanks to a lack of preseason games, but we'll all continue learning as we go.

Week 1 Recap

Davante Adams (WR/GB/P) - 27 points

Predictions Tally

The Comm-nosticator: 3/6 - 50%
Yahoo! Projections: 3/6 - 50%

Week 2 Information

Thursday Night: Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
Sunday Night: New England Patriots @ Seattle Seahawks
Monday Night: New Orleans Saints @ Las Vegas Raiders
Bye Week: None until week 5

And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 2:

Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
Someone needs to explain to me how Pat Mahomes and the Brew Crew scored the second lowest total in the league last week. FitzCorp can hope for a repeat of that but I'm pretty sure the script gets flipped and the Corporation will need to outperform expectations to keep up.

Spiked Vipers (-1) vs. Baltimorons
So I warned you about SpiVi this season, and Yahoo! warned you about the 'Morons. The Vipers outscored everyone in week one and put up almost two-and-a-half times more points than Coach Drew's team. Perhaps this one will be closer than that, but it won't be close.

the HAW (-1/2) vs. Lightning
Neither of these teams had the start to the season that they wanted. But now things get more serious as the loser here will end up in last place in the North and 0-2 in the division. George Kittle's knee could hold the key.

Renegades (-1/2) vs. Marauders
As of this writing all three starting WRs (and one bench WR) are questionable for the Marauders this week. That has to give the edge to Coach Val's team in this matchup. Even if one of her bench players is officially out for the season.

Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
The 'Bums looked strong on opening weekend, scoring our second highest total despite having an injured James Conner put up a goose egg. Things will get tougher this week against PEP but it will probably come down to the other Steelers players' performances on Sunday afternoon.

And the game of the week...

Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Predacons
The winner of this game will take early control in the South division. It looks just about even across the rosters but Lamar Jackson can push any team to a victory. There's a player in every time slot this week so it's going to be a marathon.

Good luck this week.
