And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 3:
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
The Yahoo! draft analysis folks are looking like geniuses. The 'Morons have followed their predictions, going winless so far and scoring our lowest total after the first two weeks. They need to right the ship quickly but playing against Pat Mahomes on MNF might not be the best spot to do that.
Misfits, Inc (-1) vs. Lightning
The North could be our toughest division and the Bolts have not done themselves any favors so far. And injuries were added to the insults last week, putting them in an even worse spot. Barkley, Kittle, Chark and Shepard all in one week. Ouch.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Marauders
These teams are headed in opposite directions, with the Preds winning their last three and the Marauders losing their last five straight. That trend is projected to continue but it won't be easy with a combined six WRs with a red Q beside their names.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
It's still early, but PEP could really use a win to turn things around and keep up in the South. It looks like Joe Burrow will lead the team against Lamar Jackson and the Stompers. Perhaps a victory will have to wait until next week.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. the HAW
Our two top scoring teams face off in what should be a high flying affair. SpiVi has been flying high so far, earning the biggest blowout of the week in both weeks this season. Can they do it again? Probably not, especially with that bench of injuries. But the CAPS have #1 pick injury worries of their own.
And the game of the week...
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
The winner of this matchup will take
control of the West division and go 3-0 to start the year. It's projected to be even
across the rosters and personnel
decisions might be the difference. Stay tuned - things won't be decided until Monday night.
Good luck this week.
