A tie already? It almost seems like a shame when two teams put up 100+ points only to end up with the exact same score.
Remember that the byes are starting for real this week. And don't forget about another game in Old England at 9:30am EDT on Sunday. Set your players in that matchup before it begins.
Week 3 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: the Haw/Stiletto Stompers - 112 points
Player MVPs:
Tom Brady (QB/NE/L) - 37 points
Russell Wilson (QB/Sea/SS) - 33 points
Todd Gurley II (RB/LAR/P) - 32 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 10/18 - 55.56%
League Voting: 10/18 - 55.56%
Yahoo! Projections: 7/18 - 38.89%
Ok, this is the last week to try for league voting.
Week 4 Information
Thursday Night: Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers
Sunday Morning (London): New Orleans Saints @ Miami Dolphins
Sunday Night: Indianapolis Colts @ Seattle Seahawks
Monday Night: Washington Redskins @ Kansas City Chiefs
Bye Week: No more until next week
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 4:
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Predacons
Even without the #1 overall draft pick the CAPS have managed to earn the top score twice in our first three weeks. The Preds have shown a glimmer of brilliance but Aaron Rodgers is probably going to be the difference.
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
These two are very evenly matched and it looks like it's going to come down to MNF. And which of their WRs can actually get into the starting lineup.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
The Bolts have taken over the top stop in the standings thanks to last week's tie. Meanwhile, it only took until the third game for FitzCorp to get QB for the E-A-G-L-E-S into the mix. But there's still a slight edge here to Tom Brady's team.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
How about those Stompers? They're the top scoring team in the league and our only club to put up more than 100 points in each of the first three weeks. If they can hit triple digits again they'll have a good shot at another win.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Wow, there are a lot of great matchups this week! Both teams could end up with the W here, but we all know it's going to come down to Big Ben and Bosworth vs. Baltimore that tells the story.
And the game of the week...
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
SpiVi pushed their losing streak to 7 games last week (stretching all the way back through the final week of the 2016 season). That's enough to make the list. Can they finally grab a win? The matchups seem to be in their favor.
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S17: Week 3 Preview
Week two gave us four team scores above 100 points and four below 60 points. And we also had our first one point game (thanks to a MNF holdout).
Get ready for the last of our first set of intra-divisional games until the end of the season! Also remember that the Ravens and Jags play early Sunday morning in London this week.
Week 2 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Predacons - 121 points
Player MVPs:
C.J. Anderson (RB/Den/M) - 26 points
Tom Brady (QB/NE/L) - 26 points
Michael Crabtree (WR/Oak/P) - 26 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 7/12 - 58.33%
League Voting: 7/12 - 58.33%
Yahoo! Projections: 6/12 - 50%
Go vote! Seriously - only one team voted last week. I'll turn off the voting option if nobody votes this week.
Week 3 Information
Thursday Night: LA Rams @ San Francisco 49ers
Sunday Morning: Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Sunday Night: Oakland Raiders @ Washington Redskins
Monday Night: Dallas Cowboys @ Arizona Cardinals
Bye Week: No more until week 5
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 3:
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Renegades
It has not been a great start to the season for the Brew Crew. They've scored an average of almost 35 fewer points than projections in our first two weeks. But maybe this is the week the Beermen get their first win, since the Renegades have had their own issues with underperforming.
Lightning (-2) vs. Dumbbums
Lots of important pieces to this matchup will be active during the Steelers game on Sunday. But don't sleep on an angry Tom Brady either.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Predacons
This game will probably come down to which Preds team shows up. They have scored the highest and almost the lowest totals in our first two weeks. A return to the middle means a slight edge for Marauders.
the HAW (-1) vs. Spiked Vipers
SpiVi is our only team to not reach triple digits in season scoring yet. They'll obviously cross that threshold this week, but posting enough points to beat the CAPS isn't going to be easy. Coach HAW may have lost David Johnson but he still has Aaron Rodgers.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
Between these two there are enough Qs and Ds for an entire starting lineup. A lot will depend on if those players end up starting (and if they can get through a whole football game). Prime Time matchups will also play a part.
And the game of the week...
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
Remember a few weeks ago when Yahoo! gave the South Division teams the three worst draft grades in the whole league? Well after two games they are by far the highest scoring division in the 3FL. These two will continue their high-flying ways, but Gronk's injury gives the slightest advantage to the Stompers.
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S17: Week 2 Preview
Opening weekend had a little bit of everything, including close games, MNF comebacks, injuries and high-flying scoring. Week 2 will bring more of all of those things.
Week 1 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: the HAW - 107 points
Player MVPs:
Kareem Hunt (RB/KC/SS) - 39 points
LA Rams Defense (tH) - 28 points
Stefon Diggs (WR/Min/tH) - 21 points
Predictions Tally

Week 2 Information
Thursday Night: Houston Texans @ Cincinnati Bengals
Sunday Night: Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons
Monday Night: Detroit Lions @ New York Giants
Bye Week: No more until week 5
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 2:
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Yuengling Brewers
The night games hold the keys to this matchup. The Brew Crew has to do better than last week, but Coach Drew should cruise here (depending on which WRs he chooses to start).
the HAW (-2) vs. Dumbbums
So last week the CAPS lost first overall pick David Johnson to injury until around Christmas. And they still outscored everyone in the league. He'll be hard to replace but Coach HAW is projected to score almost 100 again this week.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
This one is going to be fun to watch. Both teams lost last week but are projected to put up big points in week two. Is OBJ healthy? Did PEP pick up every player on the waiver wire hot list?
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Renegades
A win here would put FitzCorp in command of the East Division. Coach Val has hit the waiver wire, though, and it will be a close matchup. The Defenses might be the story here.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Predacons
The Stompers scored in the triple digits last week, riding surprise RB Kareem Hunt to an easy win. Meanwhile the Preds put up only one point more than our lowest scoring team. Can we blame that on Irma or is it going to be a season long thing?
And the game of the week...
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Marauders
The three teams in the North are only one point away from each other's totals each after our first week. That means the winner of this game will take over the early lead in the division and all eyes will be on Sunday night (and a little bit on Monday night).
Good luck this week.

3FL Notes: S17: Week 1 Preview
Can Misfits, Inc. defend their SuperBowl title? Will the Predacons make it back to the playoffs? Will anyone get a new twitter account or vote on any of our games? Only the 3FL season will have these answers...
It all starts tonight. Get your team ready to go!
Voting is up and running for the season, but there is now an option to turn it off if nobody else votes after the first few weeks.
Week 1 Information
Thursday Night: Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots
Sunday Night: New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
Monday Night Early: New Orleans Saints @ Minnesota Vikings
Monday Night Late: Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver Broncos
Bye Week (thanks to Irma): Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Bucs
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 1:
The first week is always the toughest to predict, but here goes...
Baltimorons (-1) vs. Predacons
This would be a great matchup if Hurricane Irma didn't put three of the Preds starters on a week 1 bye. But Gronk vs. Kelce on Thursday night should be entertaining.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Drafting while traveling and drafting while sleeping meet in this one. And the edge goes to the team with a stronger RB tandem (and more sky miles).
Dumbbums (-1) vs. Marauders
Lots of Steelers highlight this game, with two black and gold players on each team. And Bell and Big Ben should be the difference makers for their respective teams.
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Renegades
Brady and Brown are going to be the story all year for the Bolts, but Coach Val is going to make it close this week. And with players in each time slot we'll have to watch all week to see just how close it ends up.
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Our first week seems to be filled with good matchups. This one will be another close game, but the slight edge to SpiVi just because both of Coach Bev's RBs are rookies.
And the game of the week...
the HAW (-1/2) vs Phys. Ed Phenoms
Both of these teams scored an A on their Yahoo! draft report card. It should be a good one, but I still can't believe that the CAPS have both David Johnson and Aaron Rodgers.
Good luck in Week 1 and for the rest of Season 17!

3FL Notes: 2017 Draft Analysis
Eleven Twelfths of our teams were represented during the online draft on Thursday
night. Here is an analysis of the results (in draft order):
1. the HAW: David Johnson was the consensus number one pick this year, but the CAPS also snagged Aaron Rodgers. Their starting lineup is strong but their bench is weak. Grade: B+ (Yahoo! Grade: A)
2. Dumbbums: Coach Coaldog was present at the draft and that was a clear upgrade over his past experiences of letting the computer pick. There are a few holes but some of his sleepers might surprise. Grade: B- (Yahoo! Grade: B)
3. Lightning: The Bolts forgot about the draft until after their first pick (and a well-timed text). They seem to have recovered though, grabbing one of the top grades according to Yahoo! Grade: A- (Yahoo! Grade: A)
4. Renegades: Drafting across the room from PEP must have been interesting. Coach Val ended up with some frustrated chatting and a decent but uneven roster. Grade: B- (Yahoo! Grade: B+)
5. Phys. Ed. Phenoms: PEP was awarded the Toyota Best Draft for the second straight season. I can see that honor coming from the algorithm, but their untested RBs will make or break the season. And they better stay healthy. Grade: A (Yahoo! Grade: A)
6: Stiletto Stompers: The Stompers are not as bad as their report card would make you assume. Some of the picks were actually downright surprising (in a good way). Grade: B- (Yahoo! Grade: C)
7: Predacons: One year after missing the playoffs for only the second time in our history, Yahoo! would have you believe the the Preds have no chance at the postseason in 2017. We'll just have to see about that. Grade: B- (Yahoo! Grade: C+)
8: Baltimorons: Coach Drew would probably agree that this draft wasn't his best ever, but Gronk and Devonta can win games by themselves. I'll admit that there were some strange choices though. Grade: C (Yahoo! Grade: C+)
9: Marauders: Coach Hoss still hasn't learned to skip the iPad app for the draft. That being said, things turned out pretty well. Although who are those two TEs? Grade: B (Yahoo! Grade: B-)
10: Spiked Vipers: SpiVi ended up with top tier talent at each position, and they even followed a normal round-by-round strategy! Ok, at least until picking a K in the 8th. Grade: B+ (Yahoo! Grade: B+)
11: Misfits, Inc.: Our defending champion participated in the draft while waiting for a flight at the airport in Chicago. Thanks to the mobile app he has a good chance to make it back to the title game. Even with a guy named Younghoe on the roster. Grade: B (Yahoo! Grade: B)
12: Yuengling Brewers: Our lone team that was grayed out during the draft, the Brew Crew let the autodraft take control and that was not a bad strategic move. This team looks solid. Grade: B+ (Yahoo! Grade: B)
The Comm-nosticator makes his first predictions soon. Stay tuned.
