And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 6:
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Renegades
This one is even across the board and it's going to come down to the bye week fill-ins (and the paying attention to to possible late injury updates). Coach Coaldog has a decision to make after falling to the bottom of the standings. Will the new Seattle QB replace the old Seattle QB in his lineup?
Lightning (-1/2) vs. Marauders
The Bolts are riding high with an undefeated record, the top spot in the league and the most points scored this season. But did you also know that as of this writing they haven't made a player transaction yet? It must be nice. Coach Hoss needs a win here or it's going to be a long road back to the playoffs for a title defense.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Predacons
The Preds are starting their fifth different QB in the last five weeks and have scored 9 total points at that position all season. Jalen Hurts had more than that in the first half of his last game. This one should actually be close thanks to the RB differential, but the Eagles on SNF will decide the victor.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1) vs. the HAW
Speaking of the playoffs, the CAPS have made the postseason for the last 12 straight years. Last week's point explosion earned them their first win in convincing fashion, but they'll need to maintain that momentum to continue the playoff streak. Prime time games hold the key here.
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
A QB duel highlights another close one this week. Justin Herbert just might give SpiVi a MNF comeback but it's really a shame how the bye weeks are working against Coach Nick. With a full complement of players this probably would have been the GotW.
And the game of the week...
Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
Our marquee matchup features two teams in the top four of the league and even projections across the starting positions. It really could go either way. A slight edge goes to the 'Morons because of the Stompers' injury situation (and lack of help on the bench in the case one of those Qs ends up inactive).
Good luck this week.
