Our third highest scoring week of of all time saw four teams top 120 points. The West won all their games while the North lost all theirs, the opposite of what happened back in week five.
Now the difference between the first seed and missing the playoffs is only two games with six to go.
There are six NFL teams on a bye this week. It should be interesting!

And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 9:
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
There are a lot of low numbers in the projections here. Two thirds of their players are predicted to score in the single digits. Hopefully Hurts (tonight) and Goff can raise those numbers up, but a lot of it is going to depend on injuries and lineup checking.
The Bolts lost again last week and have dropped out of the top spot in the league. They'll have a chance to get back on a winning streak against the Preds and their Eagles, though. It's just going to take until Monday night to do it.
Please do not look at the benches of these two. Between injury designations and bye weeks they are not pretty. The 'Morons have still managed to put together a decent starting lineup, but SpiVi is going to have some trouble with matchups.
PEP is on a roll. They've won their last three in a row and are in third place in the standings and in scoring. It looks like they'll extend that streak to four without much effort this week. At the time of this writing–thanks to byes and injuries–the Stompers don't even have an active player in the RB1 or Defense spot.
Wow, the CAPS sure have a lot of Cowboys on their roster. That fact becomes more obvious when all four of them are on a bye. Still, they'll put up a fight against the team that just took over the top spot in the league. It just depends on if all their Qs end up playing this week.
Dumbbums (-1/2) vs. Marauders
Our best matchup this weeks comes from the bottom third of the standings. This one is really too close to call and it runs through every NFL time slot. The 'Bums have the slightest of advantages, but it's possible that the Marauders could be just about eliminated from the playoffs unless they can pull out a victory.
Good luck this week.
