Semifinal Games
(Winners play in 3FL SuperBowl XXV, losers play for 3rd Place)
#1 Marauders vs. #4 Baltimorons
Our top team cruised to victory last week and avoided the curse. For now. All 3 top scorers of week 16 were Marauders. Meanwhile the 'Morons snuck into the semis with the seventh lowest score of our eight playoff teams. Even so, they're going to give the one seed all they can handle. It's going to be a close one, starting tonight and ending with a single player for each team on MNF. The Marauders are projected to have the highest total for the second week in a row, and it might take 100+ to win.
#2 Renegades vs. #3 Predacons
The Renegades tied the Marauders and also scored 130 in the quarterfinals, their highest point total since week 14 of 2022. Can they keep it up? They'll face our defending champ here after the Preds were bailed out by their Kicker last week. It might be even closer than our other game in the championship bracket, with players in every time slot across the week. Can the Predacons advance to their second straight SuperBowl? Or will the Renegades earn their first title game berth since 2007?
Consolation Games
(Winners play for 5th Place, losers play for 7th)
#5 Dumbbums vs. #8 Yuengling Brewers
It was a disappointing week for both of these teams last week. The 'Bums scored well below their projections, which can easily happen when your QB puts up a zero. The Brew Crew was solid but couldn't keep up with their high flying opponent. This should be an even game, and we'll know a lot more after Saturday afternoon. Perhaps the 3 Eagles on one team will eclipse the 3 Steelers on the other. Or maybe Derrick Henry will lead the 'Bums to a comeback victory on Sunday night.
#6 Phys. Ed. Phenoms vs. #7 the HAW
PEP came close to an upset in the early evening last Sunday. In fact, they were ahead by a point for a brief minute. But it was not meant to be and they'll have to wait another year for a chance at the trophy. The CAPS ended up in the same situation as the Beermen, and he had to watch the competition get double digits from seven starters. Still, Coach HAW is in his 16th straight playoff bracket and that's quite an accomplishment. Perhaps they can up their number in the final standings with a W here.
Good luck this week! The SuperBowl awaits!!

3FL Notes: S25: Week 15 (Quarterfinals) Preview
Three wins in a row wins it all!!
Week 14 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Team: Misfits, Inc. - 112 points
Player MVPs:
Josh Allen (QB/Buf/SV) - 38 points
Jahmyr Gibbs (RB/Det/P) - 29 points
Puka Nacua (WR/LAR/B) - 28 points
Tony Pollard (RB/Ten/MI) - 28 points
The Comm-nosticator: 55/84 - 65.48%
Yahoo! Projections: 51/84 - 60.71%
Thursday Night: Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday Night: Minnesota Vikings @ Dallas Cowboys
Monday Night: Miami Dolphins @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Comm-nosticator is finished for the year, but game previews are not...
The three qualifying teams in the East will play the three qualifying teams in the South, while the two in the West will play each other (for the third time this year).
Yes, they have 11 wins and clinched the #1 seed weeks ago. And, yes, they had the fourth-highest scoring season in the history of the league. But two straight losses to end the regular season (including a blowout at the hands of our last place team) is no way to start a playoff run. Still, the Marauders can get back on track here, especially if the Brew Crew sees another frustrating week from all of their Eagles. But, also, the curse.
The title defense will begin from the third spot. A loss to the Bolts last week gave away the division and dropped the Preds down a place in the standings. They'll actually be a first round underdog to PEP and this will good one with an early finish. It starts with a single player tonight and then both teams are done before 8pm on Sunday. Their week six matchup saw a combined total of 106 points but nobody should be surprised if that number is eclipsed by either one of them here. Or both?
Good luck in the playoffs! The trophy awaits!!

Week 13 Recap
Top Scoring 3FL Teams: Predacons - 119 points
Player MVPs:
Patrick Mahomes (QB/KC/B) - 32 points
A.J. Brown (WR/Phi/P) - 25 points
Bijan Robinson (RB/Atl/tH) - 25 points
Predictions Tally
The Comm-nosticator: 54/78- 69.23%
Yahoo! Projections: 49/78 - 62.82%
Week 14 Information
Thursday Night: Dallas Cowboys @ Detroit Lions
Sunday Night: Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs
Monday Night: Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Chargers
Bye Week: 49ers, Giants, Panthers, Patriots
And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 14:
Marauders (-1) vs. Misfits, Inc.
Not sure there will be much to see in this one. Our uncatchable first place team is playing our locked in last place team. But then again, we all know anything can happen. It might not be a good sign if the Marauders lose two in a row going into the postseason.
Predacons (-1) vs. Lightning
The Preds moved up into second place last week and can clinch the East Division with a win here (or a Morons loss). It's nearly impossible to predict the outcome though, as the Bolts don't have a QB with a game or enough active RBs on the roster to fill both spots. Will that happen by game time on Sunday? With the Lightning already out of the playoff race?
Renegades (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
This should have been a Rivalry Week game but these teams are in the same division. And this will be a much better game than the standings would imply. A few Qs and a couple of bye week holes could flip the advantage to the Stompers.
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Spiked Vipers
The projections might have the CAPS favored by 15 points, but this one always seems to end up close. Tonight's game will tell us a lot, but we'll have to wait until 2x2 on MNF to decide the winner. I'm sure Coach HAW would like to go into next week riding a W-4, but I'm also sure that SpiVi would like to end the season on a winning note.
And the games of the week...
Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
Although they had a rough game last week, the Brew Crew still managed to grab the last playoff spot and are only 4 points away from the #7 seed. Now they'll face the 'Morons who finally stopped their slide at five losses and still have a chance to win their division. It's going to be an exciting duel all the way through the prime time games.
Phys. Ed. Phenoms (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
All 7 position players for the 'Bums had double digit point totals last week. Can they repeat that feat against PEP? Both J.Williams are starting tonight, but it will end up in the hands of 3 Phenoms to finish the story of this high-flying matchup.
