And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 2:
Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Renegades
SpiVi hit the century mark last week and there are no signs of them slowing down. It will be difficult for Coach Val's team to keep up here, with Hill obviously out and two other starters questionable to play.
Predacons (-1/2) vs. Dumbbums
Neither of these teams started the season the way they wanted, but it would be even worse to lose again this week and go down two games in the West. It's looking like things will be left to a lone WR for the 'Bums on Sunday night.
Stiletto Stompers (-1/2) vs. Lightning
The Stompers squashed the competition last week, outscoring the league and earning the top spot for now. But the one team that might be able to keep up with Mahomes & company this week is the Bolts.
Marauders (-1/2) vs. Baltimorons
Could this one be another tie for the 'Morons? It's going to be close and all eyes will be on a few Eagles in prime time. And then Chubb on MNF.
Misfits, Inc. (-1/2) vs. Yuengling Brewers
Speaking of ties, it's a little early to have one already, right? FitzCorp will try to avoid another but will have to choose the right QB early (since they play against each other tonight). The Brew Crew doesn't have that problem.
And the game of the week...
the HAW (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
PEP got more points out of
their K and Defense than most of their position players last week. That
probably won't happen again. But will their Cleveland hookup outshine
the CAPS' hookup from Houston?
Good luck this week.
