3FL Notes: S23: Week 4 Preview

Week three was the opposite of week two. Instead of close matchups, just about every game was a blowout. The average margin of victory was more than 38 points! What's next as we finish up the last round of our first set of divisional matchups?

Don't forget about the Sunday morning game at 9:30am EDT.

And now the Comm-nosticator’s predictions for week 4:

Renegades (-1/2) vs. Misfits, Inc.
It's very early, but both of these teams could use a win to stay on the edge of the playoff picture. Each can get things started tonight but we'll have to wait until Monday night to find out which of these two will claw back to .500.

Spiked Vipers (-1/2) vs. Stiletto Stompers
This looks to be a high scoring affair. Both teams have breakout WRs and are even in the backfield, so it will come down to the thinnest of margins. Perhaps just a FG on Sunday night.

Marauders (-1) vs. Dumbbums
All you need to know is that our top scoring team is playing against our lowest scoring team this week. The Marauders have averaged 43 more points per game than the 'Bums this year. Yikes.

Yuengling Brewers (-1/2) vs. Predacons
This is a rematch of SuperBowl XXII, and we all know what happened in that game. The Brew Crew is in good shape to repeat the victory even though the Preds are undefeated and things are even across positions (except for TE). Lots of primetime games should at least make it exciting.

the HAW (-1/2) vs. Lightning
The Bolts may be 3-0 but their projections this week are tied for the lowest in the league. In fact, both of these teams have only their QB expected to score in double digits. That quarterback battle will be great, but keep an eye on Saquon Barkley. He may be healthy enough to play this week but banking on him in a MNF game will be risky.

And the game of the week...

Baltimorons (-1/2) vs. Phys. Ed. Phenoms
With last week's loss Coach Drew is now tied for the longest losing streak in 3FL history. Another loss this week would put him all alone atop the list as the first to L10. At least he gets to face our last place team. Although maybe PEP will turn things around now that the fantasy baseball season is over (with Coach GregW securing the FMLB trophy). At least we know one of these teams will pick up their first victory.

Good luck this week.
